120E Films

120E Films is an LA-based film development and production company founded by producer Pin-Chun Liu in 2016 with a focus on creating content that is timely and impactful. 120E’s debut feature, TEST PATTERN, distributed by Kino Lorber, won the Blackstar Lionsgate/ Starz Producer Award, and was nominated for three Independent Spirit Awards, and three Gotham Awards, including Best Picture. PAPER TIGER premiered at the Austin Film Festival, where it won the Narrative Feature Audience Award, and was distributed in 2021.

Pin-Chun is a Fellow of the WIF/ Sundance Financing Intensive, and the Film independent Producing Lab. She was also nominated for the PGA Debra Hill Fellowship, and the 2022 Independent Spirit Producers Award. With a degree in sociology from National Taiwan University, and an MFA in producing from the AFI Conservatory, they dedicated 120E Films to developing stories of diverse and underrepresented voices, of human struggle, of small individuals caught in big systems, of intimate character studies, and desperate odds.
